Mission

MSU Extension Climate Science is a statewide educational outreach network that provides unbiased, research-based climate science resources to practical needs identified by the people of Montana in their home communities.

Goals and Objectives

1. Increase the number of Extension educators with the skills & knowledge related to climate variability & adaptation by building a bridge with common sense, applicability, and relevance to real life.

2. Create a statewide environment that supports and encourages opportunities in education related to climate variability and adaptation through improved communication, partnerships with field Extension who know their communities best, the tools they need/want, and how to serve them best.

3. Design and deliver science-based research, education resources and engaged leadership programs related to climate variability and adaptation to benefit all Montanans through creativity, imagination, and 'outside the box' thinking.
